In how many ways can I design a card with the Bright Blossoms stamp set? Today, I added Double-Mounted Bright Blossoms to the list.
Did you realize that this is the 7th project I designed with this stamp set for my blog? That excludes my Facebook page, Twitter Account and newsletter. (By the way, if you don't yet Like my facebook page, or Follow me on Twitter, or subscribe to my free newsletter, please do so today. Thanks!)
I used all 2012-2014 In Colors, specifically Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Gumball Green, and Raspberry Ripple. I feel so trendy!
Today, I tried some new products and techniques. I started with double-mounting the main stamped image. Not so new. However, I pierced a set of holes using the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack. See how perfectly the holes line up! Even better, if you're looking to make a wise investment in your paper crafting tools, consider the Friendship Preserve Bundle. This includes both the Paper-Piercing Pack and the Friendship Preserves stamp set, for a 15% savings.
Take a look at the Rhinestone in the flower. I colored it with a Stampin' Write Marker! Isn't that cool?
The fun is not just in designing and making new cards. The fun also comes from trying new techniques, putting a twist on some old ways. Double-Mounted Bright Blossoms definitely achieved that. Enjoy!
I think it’s become one of my favorite. Amazing, especially since it’s not a “vintage” style!
keep holding on to summer with those Bright Blossoms!! such a happy little set!
