Curly Cute Circles

I feel bright today and that's reflected in my Curly Cute Circles card! Have a look.

The cheeful Summer Smooches DSP goes so well with the bright & cheerful! sentiment.

When I bought the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, I immediately started to use it on all my projects – card making and scrapbooking.  That left me with a bunch of scraps. My upline made a card, similar to this one for a recent meeting. I added some of my favorite colors (namely, Midnight Muse and Baja Breeze) and here I am!

With the 1" Circle Punch, I made 8 different circles from the Designer Series Paper.  I used the Small Heart Punch for the last shape. To complete the design, you can add Designer Series Paper Circles to the inside of the card.

I know that some people add Designer Series Paper punched shapes to envelopes, but I'm not a big fan of that. It's too easy for the shaped to be pulled off the envelope when doing through the machines at the Post Office. That could tear your envelope and damage your card. So, keep the contents safe and stick to stamped images on your envelope!

It's a little difficult to see in the phone, but I added a Rhinestone Jewel 119246 to the heart-shaped card stock and to the right of the text. The heart is attached with a Stampin' Dimensional.

By changing the colors and the sentiment, you can use this card design for a variety of occasions – Get Well, Masculine Birthday, Sympathy. Even holidays!

But today, it's Curly Cute Circles for me!

  1. But you KNOW that it’s truly smaller.

That’s being GREEN and reducing your carbon footprint 🙂

  2. I just did a bunch similar to this- using lots of random things in place of the heart- and I loved them. Plus I felt so virtuous using all those leftover pieces. Not that my stash looks alot smaller….

  3. What a great way to use those precious bits of DSP that we just can’t part with! And love the heart as the last little element — so cute!
