Crushed Curry Blossoms

I love to start a new catalog year, but it can be a little overwhelming. So, today I’m starting easy. I’m working with favorite products that I already owned, but I added a new color. That’s how I came to Crushed Curry Blossoms!

Crushed Curry Blossoms - favorite images stamped in a new color!I started with the Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set and the 6-petal Blossom Punch. Colors used are Elegant Eggplant, Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla. Brushed Curry is one of the previous In Colors that returned to join a Collection in the Color Refresh. Easy enough.

But then I added some twists.

First of all, look at the central flower, It’s not that clear in the photo, but it absolutely stands out in real life! The flower shape is punched in the top layer of Very Vanilla – at an angle, just to make it more interesting. However, I stamped the large chevron oval from Oh, Hello on a scrap piece of card stock, and then punched it out. I attached this flower to the middle layer of Very Vanilla. Once the top layer was stamped and sponged, I attached it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. that gives depth to the focal flower.

I also used a new stamp set, Express Yourself. This is a new hostess set that you can earn when you host a party or place a personal order for $150. It is valued at $24.95 but you “buy” it with $15 in hostess dollars. If you’re interested, then ask me more about our Hostess Plan.

As I said, this was an easy start to the year using Crushed Curry Blossoms!
