My Bright Blossoms smile today! Isn't this a happy card? In spite of the serious color combination, I think it has a happy, light-hearted look. That's definitely a result of the fun flower shapes!
I stamped the flower and vase from the Bright Blossoms and Fabulous Phrases stamp sets. By the way, I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White card stock, and then cut out the banner shape, using a square punch. However, it will be way easier when my Bitty Banners Framelits arrive later this week. Then, I'll be able to run the card stock through my Big Shot to gets some cool banner shapes!
The paper is part of the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. I could have stamped an image repeatedly on that part of the card, but the patterned paper made it so much easier and quicker. Adding the Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon, tied in the center with a Bitty Button and Whisper White Baker's Twine adds so much interest to the card design. Stampin' Dimensionals under the main matted flower and curling the little banner add lots of dimension.
All in all, one of my favorite cards so far, from the new catalog! What do you think? What have you created with new products from the catalog so far? I'm sure it's as cute as my Bright Blossoms Smile Today!!!
Tulips!! That’s why I like this set so much! Tulips are my very more favorite flower in the whole world. When I was married, I wanted to carry tulips down the aisle, but they were out of season. I considered picking a different wedding day….
