Today's project is the one that I tried to post in January – before my technical issues exploded. I call it Blooming with Kindness Birthday!
The design is what I call delicate, but not weak. Don't you agree?
I started with the flower from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set. Isn't this delicate flower just gorgeous? In fact, the flower is just as pretty, whether you color it all in one color ink, or blend together several different colors! The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned, another favorite stamp set. Both sets are in the annual catalog. And if you purchase both, with the Large Scallops Edgelits and Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, then you can earn one FREE Sale-A-Bration item! I just love a bargain!
Colors on this project are Pretty in Pink, Primrose Petals and Baja Breeze. (It's really difficult for me to create a card without the use of blue somewhere!) It's hard to believe that this card started out in shades of yellow and green!
If you look carefully, you can see that I attached a tiny Pearl Basic Jewel above the "i" in Birthday. It's ever so tiny, as I wanted a subtle touch.
By the way, if you're looking for inspiration for your projects, be sure that you're on my email list. The February issue will be mailed out this afternoon. The projects, tips and techniques in my newsletter do not appear anywhere else. I create them all exclusively for my newsletter readers. So, be sure to sign up today. Just complete the box at the top of this page.
An extra flower on the inside of the card. A bloom on the envelope flap. This is one well-coordinated Blooming with Kindness Birthday!
Thank you!
This card is gorgeous!!
