I love the new Delicate Doilies stamp set in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. It is so versatile. On today's card, I used my "delicate" doily in a bold design!
The boldness comes from the color combination: Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder, and Pear Pizzazz. The Big Shot and punches help highlight different parts of the stamped image. Isn't that cool? The Elegant Eggplant 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon adds another touch of fun, while the Rhinestone Jewel adds some unexpected sparkle!
What would Grandma say about my "delicate" doily?!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
I’m looking forward to classes, too!
Much as I miss my daughters when they are away at school, I do enjoy the return to my routine.
Remember, classes are always on the third Tuesday of the month. Plus, extra classes will be available for Holiday Card Making!
It’s a busy – and fun – time of year!
I’m really looking forward to classes! Fun cards and great ladies!
Well, I was much younger than 8th grade when I played with Spirograph – sigh!
I’m thinking of making a variation of this card at my September classes.
Ooh, ooh, ooh!! I totally love a purple/olive color combination — one of my favorites! And how adorable is that ribbon?!!! The doilies remind me so much of playing with Spirograph when I was in about the 8th grade. I’m going to decide to feel very young, thinking about that memory!! 🙂
