Betsy’s Blossoms for my Anniversary

Today is my 25th wedding anniversary, and I designed another card with Betsy's Blossoms to celebrate this special day!

Anniversary card with Betsy's Blossoms. Pretty enough for a bride's bouquet!

Colors are Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Garden Green and Gumball Green. I couldn't decide whether to use Melon Mambo 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon or Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon – so I used both! Isn't that fun? Plus, remember that you can earn a free spool of Stitched Satin Ribbon with every $40 purchase. See the details here.

I wanted to keep the design simple, but not boring. So, I introduced a lot of dimension. Take a closer look at the large flower.

Check out the layers on this Betsy's Blossom.

The big Melon Mambo blossom is stamped directly on the white card stock. But the Garden Green Daffodil Delight layers are stamped on separate pieces of card stock, cut/punched out, and then attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a little more fun, I attached a Bitty Button at the very center. And if you look carefully, you can see that I attached one of the stamped leaves with a Stampin' Dimensional, too.

Besides this special card, I'm also running a special sale for my facebook and blog followers. Today only, I will give you 20% off your Stampin' Up! order of $25 or more. Combine that with the Back to Spool special, well …. That's a great deal. But only today.

So, Happy Anniversary to my dear husband and best friend. Happy Day to all my friends!!

  1. Betsy’s Blossoms has so many different types of shapes that all I can see is a gazillion techniques to apply! That’s what makes it such a great set.

And thanks for the good wishes. 25 years really flew by!

  2. P.S. I think I wished you a Happy Anniversary in just about every electronic and paper medium but I’ll add another one here (even though it’s late) — Happy 25th Anniversary!!!

  3. This is such a sweet card! I love my Betsy’s Blossoms set – it’s one of my favorites! I didn’t think about using the small flower for a center on the big dahlia! And that bitty button just really caps it all off so nicely. The green ribbon looks like more leaves and I really like the way you popped up one of the graphic leaves. So much going on here and so many tips that I will borrow!!!
