This card design is really a Baby Bundle for a Fitting Occasion. Have a look.
The sentiment and the elephant on the central medallion are stamped with images from A Fitting Occasion, a new stamp set in the Annual Catalog. The remaining images, stamped on the card front in the same color as the card stock, are from Baby Bundle, one of my favorite stamp sets that returned to this year's catalog.
Colors are Pool Party, So Saffron and Basic Gray. Basic Gray was added for POP, since the other two colors are so similar in intensity. This particular color combination is gender-neutral, so it's perfect for a baby shower!
The two ribbons at the bottom of the medallion are made with two different patterns in Basic Gray from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack. The top strand is folded over the top edge of the top layers of the card front. Having it flip over the top gives it a look of authenticity. I feel it completes the design better.
I also added a Brights 3/16" Brad at the top of the medallion. One heart was stamped in Basic Gray on the card front, for balance!
I designed this card for my stash. My stash is a pretty good size. But it contains mainly birthday cards and thank you cards. I have almost no baby cards. So, this is really filling a void. Hmmm. I need to work on masculine cards next!
