I can’t get enough of the Truly Grateful stamp set. So, today I’m showing yet another Thanksgiving design!
Yesterday’s post used textures. Today’s post uses textures, too!
I stamped the image on Whisper White card stock, then matted it on Tangerine Tango. Notice that the mat is very skinny. In fact, this piece of card stock is only 1/8″ taller and 1/8″ wider than the card stock on it!
I cut a small piece of the 1-1/4 Burlap Ribbon and pulled off a few strands of it, making some thin “rope”. After tying it into a bow, I attached it to the stamped image with a Glue Dot. Isn’t that cool?!
However, I didn’t stop there. I ran some Early Espresso Core’dinations card stock through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. On top of that I attached Birch Paper Ribbon from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit! Adding Stampin’ Dimensionals is the perfect touch!
Remember that while I’m showing thanksgiving cards, these designs can be used for any fall occasion. If you change the colors, you use it for other times of year.
Do you ever create a project that you can use at other times of the year? If so, leave a comment and let me know!
In the meanwhile, enjoy yet another Thanksgiving card design!
wish I could just buy the birch paper ribbon- how cool!
It is cool! I’m forwarding your comment to Stampin’ Up! Maybe if enough people ask for it …..
