I made a card with another bunch of Bright Blossoms because this stamp set just makes me feel so happy. Every time I use it, I smile!
I was going to make a bunch of flowers with stems and tie them together with some fabulous Stampin' Up! ribbons. But my design evolved, as they so often do, and the final version of my card looks like this.
Using only images from the Bright Blossoms stamp set, I stamped Raspberry Ripple flowers and Gumball Green leaves. Isn't that fun?! I punched out the flowers using the 1-1/4" Circle Punch, mounted each on 1-3/8' Circles, and then on 1-3/4" Scallop Circles. Each Flower has a Rhinestone Basic Jewel at the top. I added a strip of Rhinestone Basic Jewels below the Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon. Did you notice that the Daffodil Delight card stock is embossed with the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder?
Definitely, this is another bunch of Bright Blossoms!
Wow, very impressive!! That wouldn’t work for me — I like my evening glass(es) of wine!! So remember the cardinal rule of card making: “don’t drink and stamp”!!!
Thanks. That was one of my rare creations after 10 PM. 🙂
Well now I’m smiling, too!!! What a sweet card! I just love the layering of the circles and scallop. And I DID notice the striped embossing! Embossing always adds such a “wow” factor!
