And the final version is ….
This is virtually the same one as I posted a couple of weeks ago. I just changed up the colors a bit. Today I used Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Wild Wasabi. (I never get Wild Wasabi is part of the Subtles collection. It’s so rich, I always think of it as belonging to the Regals.)
I began with the beautiful LOVE sentiment from the Seasonally Scattered stamp set. Again, I stamped the whole image in the lighter color, and applied the darker colors using a Sponge Dauber. Such a great effect!
Instead of ribbon, I ran a thin strip of Wild Wasabi cardstock through the Big Shot with the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I also wrapped some Linen Thread around it.
For fun, and emphasis, I covered teh small punched hearts with Crystal Effects. It gives them a really nice shine! (Kind of the masculine version of bling!) Take a closer look here.
It’s still difficult to see in the photo, but it looks very nice!
By the way, I tried an assortment of different color combinations. But this card is for my husband. These colors are among the ones we like best. So, I always returned to them.
So, Happy Anniversary to me! I hope he likes his card!
