The temperature has dropped, so I'm ready to work on fall cards!
This card is made with the Always Thankful stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I colored the image using my Stampin' Write Markers and added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for sparkle!
The ribbon along the left side is 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon layered over 5/8" Satin Ribbon. Not only did I layer my card stock, but I layered my ribbon too! I'm always looking for a new twist on my very familiar products! 🙂
To make the center image lie flatter,I used 2 Stampin' Dimensionals in the upper and lower left corners, but 4 Stampin' Dimensionals in the other 2 corners. I put one on top of the other to make it a little higher. I use this technique whenever I have a lot of card stock layers.
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
Thanks, but the coloring is easier than you think. It’s almost like using a coloring book – the kind we had as children. But we’re allowed to color outside the lines. Really!
Layers — yay!!!! Paper and ribbon! And what would we do without Dimensionals??? I confess to rarely coloring stamped images — between bifocals and a short attention span and a tendency to goof up at the very end of the process, I usually rely on the stamps to do the work. Nice job!
