A Vintage Study in Brown. My favorite color is blue, closely followed by green. I hope that you can't tell that my regularly visiting my blog, because I really try to work with a variety of colors. The card below is one card I made a while ago. It's all in BROWN!
The stamp set is Vintage Vogue, one that I find I can use on so many designs. Because of the foliage, I lean towards the greens. But the day I worked on this card, I was in a "brown mood",
Shades of brown – from Crumb Cake through Chocolate Chip – with lots of sponging, really add to the vintage look of this card. Funny. That's one of the biggest changes I've experienced as a card maker. When I started using Stampin' Up! products (almost 10 years ago), I only wanted a clean, modern look. Now, I'm not sure what my favorite style is. However, I know that now I like many different styles.
That's a big advantage of owning a stamping business. While helping others explore their creativity and develop their skills, I have the opportunity to travel on my own creative journey. It's certainly not the main reason I started my business. But it definitely a big perk.

For now, on this snowy weekend, I will continue to contemplate my Vintage Study in Brown.
🙂
This has got to be one of my most favorite of your designs! I know, I know, it’s brown! (So’s the one that’s sitting in a place of honor in my craft room!) Love the layout, love the ribbon and the little folded oval with the brad. I will try making this one in a different color scheme, but I’ll bet it won’t look nearly as beautiful!
