One of the new all-occasion sets in the Annual Catalog is A Fitting Occasion. It's so handy to have a set or two like this in your collection. It makes it easy to make a card for so many different purposes, without the need for lots of stamp sets.
Today's card is for a birthday. (The larger sentiment is from the set, From My Heart, another new addition to the Annual Catalog.
The main image was stamped, then punched out using the 1" Circle Punch. Then it was layered on different colors, using an assortment of Circle Punches, including the new 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch from the Holiday Mini. I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the hat, just for a little bling!
This card is made from a design that I like to use often. To give it a twist, I added the ribbon with some folds in it. This is always a special touch. In fact, we're going to make this very card – well, this very design – on a Christmas card at my November Card Class!
