Do you ever start your design by choosing your paper? Sometimes I do that. This specific design journey started with the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack from the Holiday Mini. I cut some flags or banners that are so popular now, and then set to work! I went through a few designs until I decided to make 2 ornaments using the Ornament Punch. I ran the Brushed Gold card stock through the Big Shot with the Adorning Accents and Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.
I did something a little different with the punched and embossed ornaments. First of all, I sponged one of them. I'm a big fan of sponging, so you may wonder what's so unusual about that. This card shows the first time I ever sponged gold card stock! I find this card stock is so beautiful and special, that I never touch its surface. The ink adds an interesting touch. Take a closer look. What do you think?
So, how are your holiday craft projects going? As we get closer, you may be looking to simplify what you have left to complete. If I can be of any help, please ask. I'm here for you! Maybe you can use some elements from this Teeny Tiny Christmas Wishes Card on your cards!
