I am so out-of-control. I've been working "heads down" for days now – on my business and on my holiday preparations. However, last night I suddenly realized that so much time had passed. Our Hanukkah Celebration starts Saturday Night!
This is one of my first designs I worked on for this year. Very clean and simple. I wanted the card to be 2-tone. The 1/2" circles were added under two corners of the main image, just to make it stand out. Of course, Stampin' Dimensionals were required! It was going to be a color block card, but with only 2 colors, that design was too box-y.
Stamp set is Jewish Celebrations. This set is in the current Holiday Mini. You need to check it out. Very versatile! Colors are Midnight Muse and Whisper White. (Don't you just love that new shade of blue? I hope it makes it to one of our Color Collections the next time that they are revamped.) And, while the menorah – actually called a Chanukiah when it holds 9 candles – is not designed strictly according to the Jewish traditions, it definitely captures the spirit of the holiday. In fact, I repeat this stamped image on the inside of the card. It's so festive!
So, while you're busy getting ready for Christmas and other special events this month, remember that the Hanukkah Celebration Starts Saturday Night! Happy Hanukkah!
Thank you. This was definitely one of the easiest cards to make!!
Pretty!! Love the font on the greeting!
