Oh, my! It's been too long since I last wrote on this blog. I apologize. I took the summer to enjoy time with my family. I'm so happy that I did it, but now it's time to return to my stamping business.
The Holiday mini catalog will be here on September 1. I love the new stamp sets in it, but I love the tools and accessories even more. Here is my first creation from this catalog:
I love-love-love this stamp set – Day of Gratitude. It's very different from the type of stamp I usually choose. On this card, I heat embossed the stamp, then sponged over it with Classic Ink – the classic emboss resist card. The new Marina Mist is the main color, with Basic Black and Basic Gray making it pop. And, did you notice the center of the stamped image – it has a flat-backed rhinestone. This is the best bling ever!! Adds sparkle, but none of the mess that glitter leaves behind. It reminds me of all those skating dresses I've made over the years. Plan on seeing lots of these rhinestones on future cards!
If you like this technique and would like more information, feel free to contact me!
