I love the holidays! The planning, deciding on just the right gifts, eating all the good food, and most importantly, spending time with family and special friends.
In our home, the celebration is also a special gift-giving time. (Did I mention that my family kicks off the holiday season with my birthday?!) While it's loads of fun to receive gifts, we all have a great time thinking of and finding the perfect, or near-perfect, gifts for each other.
My family has been using Wish Lists ever since our girls were old enough to express their wants and desires. The Wish List is a guide, not necessarily the Complete Execution plan. We use it for inspiration, to get ideas. And I always make sure to pick some items from the wish list. (Just don't bring up the Barbie CD player around my daughters, please …. It only played 4 songs. I really believed that a regular cd player would be better.)
It works for well for us, that I'm offering this wish list service to all of you. It's call the Gift Registry – sounds better, doesn't it?
Fill out a form, listing the Stampin' Up! products, including gift certificates, that you would like. Also, provide the names and email addresses of those people who you want to receive this wish list information. I'll take of the rest! It's as easy as that.
The Gift Registry is a low-pressure tool. I won't hunt down your family members demanding that they choose anything – or everything – from your wish list. But I will be there to help those loved ones that are looking for some ideas. Most of us really want to give a gift that is wanted and will be appreciated.
If you would like a copy of the wish list, then just let me know. I can give it to you at card class, or email a copy to you.
Until next time,
Happy Stamping,
Sandi
And, by the way, please let my family know that I would like any of the Island Floral, Daisies #2 or Flower Folds dies for my Big Shot! Thanks!!
Well, in Canada, we used the Eaton’s catalog. Same process!
As for my family … I already mentioned the post to my dear husband. I suggested that this is one rubber-stamping, cardmaking posting he should rea!
This reminds me of the Sears Wish Book we had as kids! Lots of dog-eared pages and unrealistic dreams but that’s part of the holidays, too! I will be sure to let all interested parties know that they can go shopping for me at Sandi’s Stamped Impressions! And I’ll try to drop some hints with your bunch, too!
