For someone who usually doesn't "get into" Halloween, I sure have been busy for this day! Today, I created yet another card with the Wicked Cool stamp set.
This was based on a swap card I have. I'd give credit to the creator, but she didn't identify herself. I took her card and added some embellishments – it's always easy to add embellishments when you start with a good design!
The card base is Peach Parfait – one of the In Colors. I'm not a big fan of orange, and this ink is a lot softer than the traditional orange. The background is made from pieces of Wicked Fun Speciality Designer Series Paper (the black circles are fuzzy!), Real Razzleberry and Old Olive. The cardstock was fun through the Big Shot with the Texturz Pales Backgrounds and the Textured Impressions Spider Web Embossing Folder. The witch's hat is heat embossed. There is Black Waffle Paper under the "31". I added Basic Black and Real Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon, a Glimmer Brad, Stampin' Dimensionals. Phew! The list is long. But look how cute the result is. And, since most of the pieces are small, it's a great way to use up scraps of all kinds.
Take a close look and see other details on the card. Enjoy!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
