Thanksgiving Place Cards

I'm really in love with the French Foliage stamp set from Stampin' Up! Can't you tell?

This morning, I decided to play with this set some more. Even though it's just our immediate family for Thanksgiving, I thought I'd add a special touch – place cards! So, here is my first run at them.

This is so easy to make. I used Naturals Ivory, Cherry Cobbler, and More Mustard cardstock. The stamping was done in Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, and More Mustard ink.  The Ticket Corner punch and the Scallop Oval punch add some interest. Of course, I sponged some ink around the oval punched shape where I wrote my name. The matted ovals were attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. This was such an easy project, that your kids can help … or even do it themselves!

Hmmm. Off to design some napkin rings! Oh, and I think I'll stamp some candles for the dining room to match these. I'd better hurry. Just a couple of weeks to get my table set. (I'm never working on it this early …. I usually start the morning of Thanksgiving!)

What sort of stamped projects go in your dining room? Let me know by leaving a comment.

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Still loving that stamp set and still kicking myself… oh well. I think it’s wonderful that you’re treating your family to the full regalia of a beautiful decorated Thanksgiving table! We should always remember to take time for the niceties and to treat our family like company, every now and then.
