I just can't get enough flowers. Maybe that's because I'm so hopeless at it in my garden …
In designing this card, I mixed older, familiar products, with newer ones. Once again I used the Big Shot with the Bigz Fun Flowers Die. Each layer of the flower was made with different paper or card stock. The middle layer is from the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper – which is part of the Buy Three – Get 1 FREE Promotion.
The stamp is part of Sincere Salutations. Colors are Pear Pizzazz, Bravo Burgundy, So Saffron, and Old Olive. It's a little difficult to see in the photo, but I used the negative space in the card stock that went through the Big Shot, to sponge flower images on the card front. Of course I sponged and used Stampin' Dimensionals. The photo below lets you see some of the layers in more detail.
You also may have missed this detail … The flower layers are not symmetrical. That's on purpose, to make the flower look more "natural". Was I successful?!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
Well, I’m jealous of your beautiful gardens. Maybe you notice weeds in them, but the quantity doesn’t compare to that of my garden weeds.
As for not using what you’ve been buying …. Oh, you MUST start using it. And, using those items will just churn up those creative juices. You’ll see :=]
Love it! And I’m totally jealous of your craft room time!! I have been up to my elbows in weeds and mulch so my interaction with flowers is just a little different than yours. Sigh. Maybe in October I’ll be playing with my Bigz Fun Flowers Die (that isn’t even out of the packaging). Another sigh.
