If you haven't made your holiday cards yet, and you're still intending to do so, then you must be have this sign: Wanted: Simple Holiday Card Designs.
Here is a card that fits the description. Simple and quick to make, but it looks like it took a lot of time and effort.
There is only one stamp on the outside of the card, an ornament from the Delightful Decorations stamp set. After stamping, I punched out the image with the Ornament Punch, then added a Filigree Brad and some Dazzling Details. Who would have thought I could use a flower-shaped brad on a Christmas card?!
What makes this card look so interesting is all the dimension. I ran the Brushed Gold card stock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The Grosgrain Ribbon and Filigree Brad add more texture. And the Stampin' Dimensionals add even more depth. From this angle, you can see how interesting the whole thing looks.
If you've already finished making your holiday cards, let me know. We could all use the inspiration. But, if you haven't, and if you're still looking for ideas, I promise that the rest of the cards I show for Christmas will be really easy to duplicate on your own. Using a Big Shot to make texture helps a lot!
