Today, my idea just grew and grew. I started with something simple, then decided to turn it into one of those telescoping cards that are so popular these days. Here is what I made.
Kind of fun, when it's closed. I used the Shalom Sayings stamp set on the front, with lots of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the candle flames. The Designer Series Paper is Time Worn – I really like its vintage look!
Here is the card, fully extended!
The bottom layer is intentionally empty, so that I can write a few words.
It was fun to work on this project, as it was made of 3 coordinated cards! Quite challenging. I think it would have been easier with a more abstract design. But that's difficult to do for Hanukkah. Of course, I'm sure if I gave it another try, I would work it out!
Well, everyone, it's the weekend. The last full weekend before all the holidays start. I still have lots to do. How about you?
Until next time,
Happy stamping!
Sandi
Thanks, but the beauty really is in the eye of the beholder – lol.
Very nice! Usually when my ideas start to grow and grown, they end up in a horrific explosion, with glue and glitz all over the craft room! Eek! Glad yours turned out so great!!
