Gnome Occasions Card

Gnome Occasions Card – that's when you make a card using the Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set from the new Occasions Mini catalog.

Happy Gnome!

Okay, I admit that this is not my favorite stamp set. Nevertheless, I think I used it in a really cute way!

I stamped the image with Stazon Black ink and let it dry completely. (That is a most critical step.) Then I colored it with Stampin' Write Markers. The card front is Crumb Cake, on Basic Gray, on Certainly Celery card stock.  The patterned paper is Twitterpatted Designer Series Paper.

Just for a little interest, I ran the gray card stock through my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Then I added a little Log Cabin Smooch Spritz on the upper left and lower right corners. The Crumb Cake card stock was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

So, it's not my favorite card, but I think it's perfectly fine. And I will use it – A hand made card is always too special to waste!

How about you? Do you ever find yourself in the position of making a perfectly fine card that you just don't like so much? I'm sure that you do. It's just too hard to admit – lol. From now on, I'll refer to that type of card as a Gnome Occasions card!

Until next time,
Sandi

  1. When I saw that set I thought I definitely did not need it- but what a cute card it made. Nice job as usual.
