Bordering on Romance Design

Bordering on Romance Design … Just in time for Valentine's Day? No, this is another "flower card" that I made, just for the fun of it!

What was I thinking? This card is supposed to be vertical!

Actually, it was inspired by my "sideline" Laurie Rigo. One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is being a part of a community of like-minded business builders. I participated in a card swap with the people in my group. I was inspired by their designs to come up with this card.

The stamp set is Bordering on Romance from the new Occasions Mini catalog. I stamped the flowers in Stazon Black ink and let it dry completely. Then I colored in the image using Stampin' Write Markers. I love the result!

Of course, what makes this card so interesting is the dimension – created by Twitterpated Designer Buttons, Rhinestone Basic Jewels,  the 3/8" Pear Pizzazz Pleated Satin Ribbon and the Stampin' Dimensionals.  Take a closer look, by clicking on the photo.

Love the Rhinestones on the Buttons

Did you notice the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder wsa used on the Island Indigo card stock? And, of course, I used my Labels Collection Framelits Dies.

I love dimension on my cards. Do you? Leave a comment and let me know. I think the dimension is perfect for a Bordering on Romance Design!

Until next time,
Sandi
