I Love Blue! Especially on Super Bowl Sunday!

Finally. An appropriate opportunity to promote the color BLUE. (Of course, today is the day we should all be wearing RED for Women's Health. It's a good thing that blue and red go well together.)

The dark color is Night of Navy

Unfortunately, I didn't adjust my light properly when I took the photo above. But this card is made with Night of Navy, Brushed Gold and Whisper White card stock.

The stamp set I chose is Outlined Occasions, one that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark, then heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. The stars were made with my Big Shot and the Stars #2 Die. A little sponging and Stampin' Dimensionals was all I needed to a little fun and 3-D. What do you think?

But what about the BLUE, you may be asking?

Well, Super Bowl XLVI (or #46, for the uninitiated) is this Sunday. And I'm running a Super Bowl Sunday Promotion. Both teams' colors include blue, so what can it be? I guess you'll need to go to my facebook page and Like It to find out.

So what are you waiting for? Are you ready for some football? Are you ready for a Super Bowl Sunday? Are you ready for some FUN. Then please Like my facebook page!

Until next time,
Sandi

  1. I feel the same way. I think I use stars almost as often as I stamp flowers. Okay, maybe not. But I use them often on my personal cards!

  2. Looking forward to receiving my Night of Navy and Not Quite Navy card stock!!!

Stars are always such a fun embellishment! And they work so well for so many occasions and recipients. An easy go-to for masculine cards, whether for adult guys or little ones. And then there’s graduations and all other congratulatory events.

    Who doesn’t love sparkly stars???
