Bordering on Romance Design Fun came about after a weekend getaway! Recently, I had the opportunity to visit family in Montreal. Yet, we were able to find a little time for fun for ourselves, too! Click on the photo to see it larger.
I started with the Bordering on Romance stamp set from the Occasions Mini. I even added the usual Twitterpated Designer Series Paper. But this time, instead of lifting the colors on the paper, I chose colors that were similar. So, colors on this card are Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy. I think they work just fine!
It's difficult to see them, but I put tiny pink rhinestones from the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit. I think they are so very cute. I colored the flowers with my Stampin' Write Markers, matted them and attached to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Besides the colors and patterns, the ribbon and border punch add lots of interest. It's a happy card.
By the way, several people ask me why I don't always include a sentiment on my cards. To be truthful, I'm always designing cards, and often it's long before I know how I will use them. As a result, I always have quite a stash on hand. I used to add the sentiments when I created my cards, but don't any more. Typically, I'll add the sentiment on the inside, when I'm ready to send the card. That way, it always says the right thing!
So, if you're looking for some fun. consider Bordering on Romance Design Fun!
Yes, this flower is exceptionally easy to color! Thanks.
Super cute, super sweet. Perfect for a favorite auntie!! I don’t have much confidence in my coloring skills, but I think I could handle this one.
