Punches Make Stamping Easy!

When you are particular about the placement of your stamped images, punches make stamping easy!

Punches make stamping easy on this card!I started with my Crisp Cantaloupe card base. The next layer is Crumb Cake, a good neutral color. Then I took Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (twice!) with the Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I added a strip of Crumb Cake to the center of the card front. So far, so good!

Then I started stamping. I stamped flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set on Whisper White and Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. I also stamped the frame from Four Frames and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Punching them out with corresponding punches, namely the Decorative Label Punch and the Pansy Punch, allowed me the freedom to place the images exactly where I wanted. I didn’t need to worry about a flat surface on which to punch. Nor did I have to be concerned about the color behind the punch on the card front!

By the way, since the card was so easy to put together, I had time to apply Stampin’ Dimensionals for extra POP! I also added some small Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of the colored flower. I think the pearls added a touch of elegance to the card design!
