The 4-1-1
- 2 ways to cut out images – The stamped flower is fussy-cut by hand. The flower behind it is die-cut. All the ovals are also die-cut. Don’t ever forget to fussy-cut when necessary. It adds some interest. (And I will NEVER do it often!)
- Random straight lines add interest – The background is stamped with straight lines. It makes the card more interesting, than just leaving it plain. Yet the lines don’t take away attention from the flowers or the sentiment. And event thought they are straight lines, don’t they make you think of flowing water?
- Pop up shapes liberally – I used Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the main flower. I also used them behind the matted Happy Birthday. Never feel that you need to pop up only one shape or all the shapes. Variety is the spice of cards. (Or is that Life?!)
