To Host or Not to Host? That is the Question

To host or not to host? That is the question. Especially during Sale-A-Bration! Should you host a party? That’s where people gather to see the latest Stampin’ Up! products. If you’d like to host, what form should the party take?

By the way, you should host a party. During Sale-A-Bration you can earn even more free products than during the rest of the year!

Party Formats

The party we’re most familiar with is the the Home Party. Typically, the hostess invites people to her home. I demonstrate some projects. Everyone makes a couple of cards – called Make & Takes. I offer some door prizes and other prizes. Maybe we play some games. There are some snacks and/or beverages. Some people order products. We all laugh and have a good time. Then everyone goes home.

The Facebook Virtual Party is almost the same thing. Except that the hostess and the guests are all in their own homes. There are no Make & Takes. Everyone provides her own snacks and beverages. You can wear PJs – or whatever clothing makes you comfortable. We all laugh and have a good time.

So which party would you prefer?

Card Samples

This is a card sample I’m showing at January parties. Isn’t that chick cute?!?!? I talk about her in yesterday’s post. You can read about it here.

Hey Chick Sale-A-Brate host- http://stampedimpression.com I used the Hey, Chick stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Yesterday, I explained that you can pick a free Sale-A-Bration product with every $50 you spend. This applies to every party attendee.

I also stamped a sentiment, from the same set, on the inside of the card.

Extra Sale-A-Bration Earnings for the Host

Parties are fun. Throughout the year, the party host can earn Stampin’ Rewards, based on the purchases at the party. During Sale-A-Bration, these rewards can be a little higher. Take a look.Furthermore, if the host decides to sign up as a Stampin” Up! demonstrator, the $25 can be applied to the Starter Kit. No risk! How about that?
