Have you started to think about holiday cards? I have. My first decision is always: What style will I use? Here is a design that is very striking!
I started with Endless Wishes, one of the most fun stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog! It’s a photopolymer stamp set, which makes it super easy to place the different elements exactly where you want them. In fact, when stamping the sentiment, place both stamps on the acrylic block at the same time!
The main color is Basic Black – obviously. However, I also used silver and Pool Party. No one expects Pool Party snowflakes! 🙂
Each snowflake was heat embossed. That helps the color stand out on the dark background. The thin Pool Party mat also makes the largest snowflake stand out. The thin lines of each element supports the other.
For added drama, I inserted a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of the large snowflake.
The overall card design is very simple. That also allows the details of the stamped snowflakes to stand out.
