It’s so easy to step up your thank you card design! Here’s an example.
I originally started this card with only the Mint Macaron card base, the Basic Black Layer and the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP). I stamped on the DSP. Simple. Easy. Quick. And very pretty.
But I wanted MORE.
The 4-1-1
- Detailed design – Delicate Details, a stamp set that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration, adds some special lines along the left side of the card. The balance is perfect.
- Baker’s Twine supports the design lines – The Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine along the left helps to emphasize the detailed stamped image. It draws your eye to it.
- Rhinestones – On this card, they give your eyes a place to rest. They appear at the beginning and end of most swirls, making them even more special!

Don’t know about my Monthly Card Class? We meet during the evening of the second Tuesday of each month. Each person makes 6 cards – 2 in each of 3 designs. Bring your favorite Go-to 2-sided adhesive (like SNAIL or Multipurpose Liquid Glue). I provide all other supplies, including Stampin’ Up! envelopes.
