As the card says, “It’s your day. Make a splash!”
This is not my typical style of card. But I have to tell you that it was SO much fun to make!
I started with Message in a Bottle, a new photopolymer stamp set in the Annual Catalog. Lots of images and sentiments to mix-and-match. Really oodles of fun!
And then I picked my colors. This combination is definitely up there on the top of my favorite combinations to use: Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Sky, and Dapper Denim. Whoever would expect conservative me would be so happy in this set of hues?!?!
Another shock on this card design is that I fussy-cut the bottle! I know, I always say that people who fussy-cut have too much time on their hands. Well, I still think that. But the card NEEDED to have the bottled mermaid sitting on top of the ribbon!
