Make Holiday Cards AND Save Money

Make holiday cards AND save money with the new clearance rack items! I love a good bargain, don't you?

Today I'm showing two very different cards for the holidays. My Hanukkah card is very fun and colorful. My Christmas card is more formal. Yet both use non-traditional colors.

In my house, Hanukkah is for the kids. We use the holiday to spoil them a little. It's a very light-hearted time for us. This card captures that light-hearted spirit.

Melon Mambo and Tempting Tuquoise make this card spin like a dreidel!

Do you see how I made the dreidel? I used punches! And many of them are on sale on the Clearance Rack Blitz. Have a look!) I admit that I saw this punch-happy dreidel on another web site last year, and I don't remember to whom I should give credit. But I love this little guy! And, if you look closely, you can see that I put lots of Dazzling Diamonds on it for extra fun!

My Christmas card has a more elegant look, don't you think?

Black snowflakes for a formal card!

Basic Black, Gold and Very Vanilla is one of my favorite color combinations. And I was tired of the blue-and-white snowflake cards. But these colors, complete with Basic Pearl Jewels in the snowflake centers, give just the look I wanted. And it was so very fast to put together. By the way, the stamp set is Serene Snowflakes.

Remember, I promised simple holiday card designs!

So, what do you think? Do you have enough nerve to try one of these? Leave a comment below and let me know. After all, this is an opportunity to make holiday cards AND save money!

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
