Happy Birthday to my Big Sister!

Have you heard that #imbringingbirthdaysback is quite the sensation? I’m talking about it today for a few reasons. First of all, it’s my Big Sister’s birthday!! Happy birthday, Lynn! I’d post a photo of the card I sent to her – yes, I always send her a hand crafted birthday card – but I’m not sure that she’s seen it yet. While I always make her card well in advance of her big day, I usually forget to mail it until it’s too late. Sigh.

So here’s another festive birthday card I’ve made:

imbringingbirthdaysback http://stampedimpression.comThis card was designed using lots of new products in the Occasions catalog. The stamped images are all from Party Wishes. This stamp sets has a corresponding set of punches, the Party Punch Pack. But the best part is that these punched shapes are a teeny bit smaller than the stamped shapes. So when you stamp and punch, there are no white edges on the images! Love it!

Best of all, you can buy the stamp set and the punch pack as a bundle and save 15 percent! That’s what we call Win-Win.

The paper is from It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack, a set of 48 double sided 12″ x 12″ designs. That’s a whole lot of paper!

By the way, here’s a cool tip for you: To have a closer look at the designs of the paper, go to my online store and call up the product. Click on the link “More” below the main photo, then on the plus (+) sign at the bottom right corner of the main image. You can then scroll through an enlarged image of each paper’s design. How about that?!?!

Did you notice the Baker’s Twine? The black-and-mint-macaron twine is part of the Baker’s Twine Combo Pack 140555. Another twist on a favorite product.

The surprises never end!

The second reason I’m talking about #imbringingbirthdaysback is that you can now buy this stamp from Stampin’ Up! Let people know you’re part of the movement!

imbringingbirthdaysback- http://stampedimpression.comThis $12 wood mount stamp is now for sale. How fun! I stamp it on the flap of every envelope that I send with a birthday card.

So there you have it! Birthdays are fun! A card stock and paper birthday card is way better than an electronic one! Celebrate birthdays with real cards!

But most importantly, Happy Birthday, Lynn!

  1. Happy Birthday, Lynn!! What a super cute card! Love, love, love all the popped up elements and that awesome baker’s twine, and wow — don’t Mint Macaron and Basic Black just look so GOOD together??!!!

    1. Sigh! This is NOT the card I made for my sister. Furthermore, I forgot to take a photo of it before mailing it to her. But the card I sent is a more detailed version of the card I made in my February Card Class. You can see that card design on my Facebook page at http://facebook.com/stampedimpression.

And, yes, I LOVE the combination of black and Mint Macaron!!
