Easy Halloween Card

I love an easy card that looks like it took a lot of skill and time to complete. This Stampin’ Up! bundle makes this possible. Check out this easy Halloween card!Easy Halloween Card http://stampedimpression.com

I started with Holiday Home, a cute photopolymer stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. I stamped a couple of houses in Jet Black StazOn Ink on Watercolor Paper. Then I ran it through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine with the corresponding Homemade Holiday Framelits Dies.

By the way, did you know that you can buy the stamp set and Framelits in a bundle? Do that and save 15 percent!

I colored the houses using a Blender Pen and an assortment of Stampin’ Classic inks, including Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake. However, the bats on the moon were stamped in VersaMark and embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder! They are so cute and eerie and the same time!

For those of you who are afraid to mix colors, the mat on this card was cut from Perfect Plum card stock. But the mat under the sentiment was punched from Elegant Eggplant card stock. I used the darker color there because I felt it made the sentiment stand out more. What do you think?

I also added some bats, but on gray circles, on the inside of the card. If you look closely, you can see them here. Near the top.
